I recently had a surgery at Crown Point Surgery Center and the care was very good. The problem is the billing. I set up payments and agreed on a fixed amount to be split between three payments. I paid the initial amount at the surgery center checkin. The next payment they charged the total remaining amount. At that point my bill was paid in full. The following month they charged my card again for the same amount which amounts to a $500 overcharge. It took weeks to get in touch with someone. I explained everything and they said they would take care of it and send me a check in the mail. It's been three weeks now and they won't return my calls. I'm not sure who to talk to now.
I recently had surgery at Crown Point Surgery Center, and my experience was excellent from start to finish! The staff was friendly, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. The young man at check-in was kind and helpful, and my pre-op nurse Rose was absolutely wonderful — calm, caring, and attentive, making a stressful situation so much easier. The surgical team and anesthesiologist were fantastic, and Dr. James, who performed my surgery, was skilled and compassionate. My post-op nurse (I wish I remembered her name!) was also incredibly kind and attentive, making sure I was comfortable before heading home. From check-in to discharge, the entire process was smooth, efficient, and caring. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend Crown Point Surgery Center.
DO NOT USE CROWN POINT! The facility staff at the front desk bullied me into paying my full 'estimate' of financial responsibility as I checked in for my procedure. I paid $2100. Turns out, my responsibility was just over $200 and they owe me $1900. ZERO response from their "contact us" form online. I had to complain all the way up to the Tenet ethics department to get any response. Yet still, promises made = promises broken. I have to chase them for the money they owe me. If you owe them, however - collections! DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!!!
Horrible customer service. Had to wait over 6 weeks for the results of a biopsy from my colonoscopy, wondering if it was cancerous. The Dr hadn't even reviewed the results after 5 weeks until I started hassling them. Multiple times they said someone would call back or they'd mail the results but it never happened. Worst patient follow up care I've experienced from a medical institution ever. Having said that the nurses and staff for the actual surgery itself were friendly and professional. Never saw the doctor.
Had surgery in Dec of 24. Agreed to pay half of what was owed and the balance on auto payment. DO NOT DO THIS!!!’ Within one month I was sent to their collection department who had no knowledge of a payment plan and demanded I set one up. Called the billing center which is third party. Took weeks to get anyone to call me back. Explained the situation and asked for some assurance to guarantee that there would be no issues. Billing had no idea I was on a payment plan. Called the surgery center. After many calls left I finally had Bobbi the manager speak with me. She assured me Alisha at the billing center would contact me. Well three months and no resolve. Calls from collections. Calls from the billing center but to date no one has answers. Just that they will call me back. Bobbi now refuses to take my calls. Won’t call back. Today I was told that she was not available all day but Kate the VP of the surgery center would be. The saga continues. Will Kate call me back? Will collections stop calling? Will the billing center know what needs to be done and not continue this mess?
