Our toddler recently had dental surgery here & needless to say, it was quite a terrifying experience! LUCKILY for us, the amazing staff at Truckee Surgery Center, who are all above average, incredible, super hero types, took absolutely excellent care of us durning this trying time. During the month before surgery we must have called at least 100 times, asking all sorts of questions, just trying to get information on every detail possible. Kelsey & Brie were both a wealth of knowledge & really took the time to help ease our minds & answer all of our questions. When we arrived, Whitney came out to talk to us before the surgery & explained everything in immaculate detail & again answered all of our questions. My son was just a bit nervous, but mostly cranky, as he was fasting & of course isn't used to that. He immediately took to Lisa as they took him back beyond the waiting room in order to help him become more comfortable with the surroundings. Lisa was so perceptive & kind, truly helping our son become more at ease. She also was a great support to us parents who were having a near panic attack as they took our crying baby off to the operating room. Heidi was intelligent & compassionate, as well as a fantastic emotional support, letting us talk her ear off as we calmed down in the waiting room. She also kept checking on our son during his procedure, letting us know how he was doing, as did all of the other attentive nurses. Our anesthesiologist, Dr John Stanek, was a real dream come true, with loads of experience & a real gift for handling the little ones. This entire team, along with our dentist Dr. Gannam, have truly restored our faith not only in western medicine, but also in the entire human race in general. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything all of you do!
