I have an appointment today at 8:45 to clean up my lens at the surgery center in Thousand Oaks. I received a phone call and a text message telling me to be here at 6:15, 2.5 hours early. I arrived at 6:15 but the outside door will not open and no one answered the three different phone numbers I have called. Someone coming to work in another office let me into the building and the office is open even though no one answered the phone. I have had this type of treatment before in the Westlake and Camarillo offices and I was not asked to arrive 2.5 hours early or pay $165 facility charge. Because of this I do not recommend the surgery center for minor laser treatment that you can have in the Westlake Office.

Dr. Bala performed cataract removal and enhanced corrective surgeries on my mother’s left eye. Dr. Bala and staff were very professional, kept us well informed, were friendly and attentive so my mother felt comfortable. We look forward to returning in 2 weeks to have surgery on her right eye as well. Thank you Dr. Bala and Team!!!

I recently had cataract surgery with Dr. Bala at this surgery center. Everyone involved in my surgery was kind and accommodating. Safina does an outstanding job in organizing all the patients’ surgeries and makes sure everything runs smoothly. It was a great experience. They even played Italian music for me! Everyone is just so friendly and made me feel so comfortable about the surgery. This excellent service is hard to come by these days.
