I had to have a wisdom tooth removed and from my first appointment to the actual procedure, every single staff member in the office was so kind and caring. I was hardly nervous the morning of the procedure because everyone made me feel so safe and confident. I feel like you rarely find doctors office as lovely as this one anymore! High recommend
Absolutely the best office for oral surgery. Dr. Alltucker explains every move he makes which I find very reassuring. The assistants move around each other seamlessly. All are friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Such a great experience, thank you!
I’ll start by saying this: I hate the dentist. Oral surgery? Even worse. I am not a good patient, and at 40 years old, realizing I had to get my wisdom teeth out was frustrating, humbling, and honestly something I put off longer than I should have. From my initial consult in the Paso Robles office, Dr. Alltucker was exactly what I expected — professional, straightforward, and calm. Nice guy, no red flags, but I still walked in with my guard up because… well, it’s oral surgery. Surgery day was where things really shifted. His staff was incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. There was a genuinely positive energy in the office that immediately put me at ease. That may sound small, but when you’re anxious and walking into something you dread, it matters more than you realize. The procedure itself went smoothly (so I’m told — I was under general anesthesia, so I’ll take their word for it). Now for the real story: recovery was rough. Days 4 and 5 were brutal, and I felt like the biggest wimp on the planet. I hope that’s not the case for anyone reading this, but unfortunately, it was my reality. Friday night the pain ramped up, and by Saturday morning I left a message for the on-call doctor. Here’s where Dr. Alltucker truly earned my lifelong respect. He called me back within 15 minutes — and it was him, not an assistant, not a third party. He was calm, reassuring, patient, and genuinely concerned. He even offered to come into the office on a Saturday to check on me. After talking it through, I decided to wait it out. Then Sunday rolled around, and the pain flared up again. Around noon, he checked in on me again. Once more, he offered to meet me, and once more I tried to tough it out. An hour later, the pain got the best of me and I texted him to take him up on that offer. Not once — not even for a second — did Dr. Alltucker make me feel like an inconvenience. He didn’t minimize my pain, rush me, or make me feel weak for calling. Instead, he treated me with patience, compassion, and genuine empathy. His bedside manner was exceptional. He made me feel heard, respected, and human during a moment when I felt pretty defeated. That kind of care can’t be taught — it’s who he is. Dr. Alltucker and his staff have honestly restored my faith in doctors. Not because the procedure was perfect or recovery was painless — it wasn’t — but because he showed up when it mattered most. He cared. He followed up. He treated me like a person, not a chart or a number. Writing this review is my way of expressing sincere gratitude. Thank you, Dr. Alltucker, for your professionalism, your compassion, and for being the kind of doctor people hope they’ll have when they need one most. ps. I recently had a tooth extraction with a bone graft. I experienced very little discomfort and bleeding. The site is healing nicely with the help of following well-constructed instructions. Dr. Bush did a great job extracting the tooth . It was quick with no complications…. Dr. Bush, his team and staff in the office were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend CCOM. Thank you for the great experience….😊
On behalf of my wife…availability of appointments was quick. Staff in SLO and Paso offices were very professional and informative. Education provided prior to the procedure via verbal, written and electronic means was very thorough. Dr. Bush was top notch in terms of skill but also worked with me when advised I wanted my procedure to be efficient and economical as most of it would be cash pay. He provided options and great education so I could make the best choice for my anxiety, pain control and budget. Highly recommended CCOMS for high quality care, staff who listens and great follow up.
