Dr.Kao is awesome i just left his office today after my colonoscopy. I drove 4hrs to be seen . We had our consultation over the phone saved me the trip. Colonoscopy was quick he removed polyps i had. Very little to minimal pain idk what they gave me but I dosed off for a while woke up feeling at ease knowing I had the best doc by my side. He got me in quickly. He is my go to gastrologist from here on out. Thankyou

Dr. Roger Kao has been my gastroenterologist since I was just 12 years old. Now at age 20, I can honestly say that he has shown true compassion, and professionalism throughout my experience of being his patient. I have been able to chase my dreams, and live what most would say a normal life is like while battling Ulcerative Colitis. Not only is Dr. Kao great but even down to his team of receptionist’s. Colleen is amazing and always has taken care of me. During a rare occasion if Dr. Kao is on a vacation, Dr. Levenson is quick to step in and deliver the same level of care needed. Overall I have felt apart of the family during my experience with Digestive Care Center in San Carlos CA. The world needs more doctors like Roger Kao.

Dr. Kao is a brilliant compassionate doctor! I wish we had more doctors like Dr. Kao. I HIGHLY recommend Digestive Care Medical Center. They are there for you. Dr. Kao takes the time to listen, support you and educate you beyond what other doctors would/do. Wonderful experience! His assistant and staff are so friendly and kind. They made me feel important and genuinely appreciated. I am forever grateful for this experience and people like Dr. Kao and his amazing team. Dr. Kao, you are simply THE BEST!

Highly recommend Dr. Kao for routine colonoscopies. After turning 40 and with a family history, I've seen Dr. Kao 2x in the last 6 years for a colonoscopy. Both times were fast and stress free. Now, with the SuTab pills, the process is really easy. Dr. Kao made a sometimes embarrassing procedure very smooth. Get that colonoscopy if you're over 40!

I am Canadian temporary living in USA ! Today I had my first colonoscopy ever ! I was stressed but I soon as I saw Dr Kao I felt safe and at ease ! His personality makes you forget about any stress !I was awake and watched the entire procedure and dr Kao answered all my questions ! It was amazing to see my colon inside ! Of course I had a little like bloating discomfort but the amazing nurse helping him helped him guide the scope from the outside by gently touching my belly ! I would totally recommend his practice to all my friends and everybody I know ! The preparation was really easy with Sutab tablets ! I would totally do the procedure again using Sutab and Dr Kao and awake ! I love the USA health care system ! In Canada is hard to get any tests done unless is an emergency ! Don’t get sedation you will be fine !
