I was there for eye surgery on September 3rd. The staff were friendly and helpful. When I was in pre-op Denise, Natalie and Destinee were amazing!! I was a bit uneasy and they made me feel comfortable. I thought it was very organized and efficient.
Back in April I had surgery to remove my gallbladder, and while I was here for a short time, the staff and nurses were very understanding and kind! They were kind enough to explain how the surgery will go and the recovery afterwards, and had me meet the staff that would be doing my surgery beforehand which was very helpful and helped me feel more better about going into surgery since I've never had surgery before and made me feel way more comfortable and at ease, It made my entire first time a comfortable and memorable experience!!
Three stars may be generous. I was told to come back in 4 hours to pick up my mother for surgery. I returned on time and received a text stating the peraon I was there to pick up was just taken in for surgery. I went inside to check with the front desk if the text was correct and she confirmed that it was correct. She said the doctor was behind in surgeries. I asked her, "Why wouldn't you text me that, then, when you knew he was behind? I could have stayed at home!" She just apologized and kept doing what she was doing. I then had to ask her how long the surgery would be and when to come back because she did not offer this information. I guess she thought I would sit there for hours waiting or something?! I just want to know, what is wrong with these people?! Businesses these days employ peiole with absolutely NO good customer service skills. But, that's my inconvenience, now consider my poor 78 year old mother who has been waiting in PreOp for 4 hours and hasn't had anything to eat or drink since 9:00 p.m. the night before! I don't yet know how the doctors are as surgeons, but I pray they are much better than their office support staff! The office manager needs to add to their procedures that if a doctor gets behind in surgeries, then the contacts for all of the patients affected must be contacted to provide updated times of pickup.
From the time I checked IN, nurses that prepared me for my surgery, nurses in the operating room, and then checking out, being pushed out in a wheelchair to my ride, YES, EVERYONE WAS PLEASANT, HELPFUL AND NOT ONE PERSON SEEMED ANNOYED. THANK YOU ALL FOR AN AWESOME OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE. GREAT JOB DR RIMMER.
Today I had cataracts surgery at Inland Surgery Center. The staff was professional and friendly. My nurse, Zachery, was outstanding. He was attentive, explained everything in a manner that truly showed he cares, and was always available to answer any questions. He talked with me and checked in on me often up until my surgery. From check in to the end of my surgery, the whole experience was exceptional. I wish there was way I could thank them personally.
