This is the second time I've had this procedure done here. And the same guy was putting me under. He actually remembered me from 2 years ago! He is a great guy who made me feel at ease. He remembered me , im sure, due to my PTSD. He helped it go a lot easier. The nurses were friendly and calm. And the Dr doing the procedure was a calm, quiet and professional man. Thank you all.

Redding Endoscopy Center was a calm, caring environment. They explained everything that was going to take place and continued to ask if I understood or had any questions. They were very efficient and showed concern for me! Thank you to the whole staff!

The procedure went fine although I'm normally put completely under for it. This time I was told there was only one anesthesiologist available and he was in another room. Following the procedure in recovery the nurse chastised me. She stating that the prep I did the night before was only fair and that they had encountered fecal material throughout. Because of THIS I would have to come back in two years instead of the normal 5! I took the full dose of SUFLAV as prescribed. It consisted of two doses of 1 liter each. following each dose I drank 16 ounces of water or more. By the end of the of process I was seeing clear light yellow liquid only in the discharge. This was my first time using SUFLAV. Following the colonoscopy I only spoke with the nurse. Dr. Dhanuka did not check back in with me to see if I had any questions or to tell me how things had gone. I was told that I would receive a phone call the following day to see how I was doing. All I received was a text asking if I needed a nurse to call back for any issues I was having. This experience was not as good as past experience and far less personable. Like I was just pushed through the process.
