As a Healthcare/surgery center, I can't understand how Risser Orthopedic hasn't been shut down. The doctors are doing far too much business not to tear down this ancient, decrepit eyesore place. Either rebuild or move! I can't understand how any business would stay here let alone surgeons. Shame on the city of Pasadena for allowing the unsightly, burned out nursing facility to remain standing next door while unsecured and hidden from view by fencing. Attention doctors, take some pride in your profession; do not operate here. And patients, contact your medical care networks. Save others from having to go here!

Had both knees replaced. The second failed and I was told to wear a brace. I had a repair done by another non-Risser doctor which improved my balance, however, 6 years later the knee still requires a brace to keep it balanced and in place.

This is the worst experience I have had. Main problem is the staff. Dr Pradham request an MRI, after 4 intents to make an appointment in Huntington Hill where the doctor works and the staff was not able to fax a correct Dr. order they are not able to have a fax number file after they were sending an incorrect document. They treat us like we are going for free. This clinic only wants money. They make an X-ray of my back before seeing a doctor even when I told them my problem was the foot. The doctor appears only one minute (no kidding) to tell me there is no wrong with X-ray that I need an MRI. No they don’t need my MRI they need my money 🤨. Good look whoever is schedule for surgery.

Not so much a friendly staff. Their smile seem a little forced. A lot of workers but very few working. I believe in always doing your best at whatever you are doing, I didn’t see that here. I see does staff talking to staff and people on their phone. This is a medical facility so I hope they realize that people need a confidence booster instead just a pad on the back.
