Apply surgery center … wow high tech place! Wonder services from equipment, procedures and a very professional staff. Chris and Lyle we wonderful…everyone was great! If you’re getting a colonoscopy … come here it’s exceptionally and up to date on technology!
The front desk personnel were quick to check me in. I was called back right at my appointment time. Robert, LVN did my pre-colonoscopy questions, vitals and IV insertion (painless, thanks Robert!). Yadira, RN and Chris, Nurse were great in the room for my Colonoscopy and Endoscopy. I had complete Anesthesia and woke up feeling groggy, but it soon passed. Dr. Dharmaraja, Gastroenterologist from Gastro Care Institute was there to go over what they found. The surgery center had already called my spouse and he was waiting in the lobby to drive me home. Excellent Experience at Apollo Surgery Center!!
Even if the Dr's, Nurses and procedures may be good, I hate this place. They took a check for payment from me in Sept 2025 and have lost every bit of info on it. Doesn't matter that I have given them info on all payments made to my family's accounts (2 of them) they are threatening to send me to collections because my account shows past due more than 90 days. So 1 account was paid in November throughy FSA and the other by check in Sept and they will not continue treatment until paid. These people are trying to take us by continually trying to manipulate you into thinking you really didn't make your payment. Avoid this place as best you can!!!!! Their billing is horrid!.
I contracted covid from this surgery site, and the equipment did not seem clean. The surgery prep area even as the first patient of the day was not clean. Stuff on the floor. They refused that my surgery would cause me any pain and told me I just had gass. After I was opened up the doctor that did it would not care for me, and the hospital would not advocate for me. He actually only wanted to open me up again. Thank goodness I got a new doctor that was able to treat me an was not going to put me under just to see in a 20mg prescription worked. Thank God I have a new doctor. I would never go here again and you shouldn't either.
Awful place!!!!! Very rude staff and a horrible scheduling system. My wife had a colonoscopy appointment at 10 am, so she checked in at 9:50. But they had her wait for 3 hours without any notice or excuse! When we complained about the long wait time, they just said "wait 1.5 more hours". Didn't even say sorry. Don't go to this place unless you enjoy long waiting times and rude staff.
