Rude and condescending from the moment I entered the facility. Patty (office manager) quickly jumped up to speak over the front receptionist when I started asking questions about payment and secondary insurance. Kept saying "you gotta ask kaiser" we don't know. So explain to me how you came up with the number of $669.02 if you haven't billed my primary insurance and are refusing to add my secondary insurance that I am providing to you. Patty refused. Immediately her response is "then we are going to delay your surgery" because I have questions?! To give patients less than 24 hours and expect them to pay these prices is unreasonable and not good business practice. To say I am disappointed with the service and also kaiser for choosing to contract with a facility that treats their patients this way is an understatement. Checked in on time at 10:27am for my 10:45am arrival and now I'm being ignored and eye rolled by staff. Unprofessional to say the least. Will update as the day proceeds... Update: it is now 11:45am, per the form my scheduled surgery time. Still waiting with no update as the office manager has chosen to delay my procedure. Final review: My surgery time was pushed an hour, probably due to me asking my insurance questions which the Pacific Hills billing called me and refused to tell me what the contracted rates were along with refusing to add my secondary insurance which I provided upon arrival. They stated I needed to add it with kaiser, not them as they don't know who to bill, even though I stated my primary is Kaiser and secondary is Cigna and when you submit the claim you would have known that rather than "fleecing money" from patients up front. As a patient you can see my concerns for paying such high premiums without written billing information. Both Kaiser and Pacific Hills are at fault as both customer service reps claimed they "don't know the rates" but kaiser has been using them as a contracted facility since after COVID times. Post op update: If you've had similar experiences at this facility, and you are an insured patient call the number. We must hold the owners accountable for the bad practice of demanding money and declining services. To refuse care is unlawful and we must bring this to the states attention immediately. This franchise is what gives healthcare a bad name. Let's no continue to let doctors and facilities dictate our medical rights to service. I've filed grievances with my insurance company and will be calling the state to notify and complain about the insurance practice of the facility.

This surgery center is very comforting. I recommend it to my family and friends. The procedure is painless and the light that you look at is cool, cartoon aliens, like. It's real fast and you are out on no time it seems.

I arrived a few minutes early at 12:15 for a 1:15 surgery appointment. No mention of a delay by the desk clerk. I had been called earlier in the day to delay my arrival from 11:30 to 12:15 and was assured that this new time was good. After waiting until 1:45, I checked with the desk and was told that my surgery would now take place at about 3:00. I was surprised at he delay and very unhappy that no one informed me of the additional delay. I told the desk clerk that I might need to reschedule my surgery to another day. She checked to see what could be done and I finally went in at about 2:00 to be prepared for my procedure and finally left at 3:45. Once I got taken in for my procedure, the staff was very competent and helpful. I received a call from the center director after I made a complaint. And my procedure went well.
