The staff here are professional, courteous, and clearly take pride in their work. Scheduling the appointment was straightforward after a referral from my primary care provider. I’ve seen Dr. Paredez before, and he continues to be very professional and reassuring. I tend to get a bit nervous about being put under, but the procedure itself went smoothly, and Dr. Paredez and the team did a great job explaining the process and making everything feel calm and manageable.

I would have to say my first and only experience with La Jolla Endoscopy Center was the absolute best experience I have had with any medical staff. The nurses were fantastic, welcoming, friendly, while being very efficient and professional in their treatment. Dr. Mayer extended the same feeling of being welcomed and friendly and professional as his staff. While my time with him was not long, it was the appropriate amount and he made me very comfortable that I was in good hands. My only regret is that due to the results of the procedure and my age this will probably be my last Colonoscopy and therefore will probably not be seeing the great staff, nurses and doctors, at the La Jolla Endoscopy Center again.

Friendly staff, concerned about patient comfort and health. Check in was prompt and timely. The prep nurses were attentive and continually.advised me about pre-procedure steps. The IV insertion.was painless. Doctor Paredez and his procedure room staff are the best. In anesthesia recovery Doctor Paredez gave me a report and discussed his findings with me. You can’t find a better gastroenterologist team.

Great experience from beginning to end. The office staff and hospital staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and Dr. Paredez spent plenty of time during my consultation and had a great bedside manner, as did his anesthesiologist (sorry, can't remember his name). They even sent a follow-up text the next day to ensure all was well with me (it was). If you need a colonoscopy (and if you're reading this, you probably do), I recommend Dr. Paredez and his team 100%. Thanks so much everyone!
