I get that you may be referred here and not have a choice in the matter, but as a contact person for picking up a patient. This place could use a serious revamp in their organizational skills on discharge. Maybe get a chore chart like the kind they give toddlers so everyone knows their tasks. If you have a patient pick-up, you will want to stay in constant contact or they will forget to let anyone know.

***READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE YOU GO*** this surgical center is fast, clean, efficient and accommodates any doctors from this area that need to do minor procedures when their own hospital is impacted. The biggest complaint I see about this place is that they will charge you more if you do not have your insurance straightened out. Do your due diligence and know what your insurance will and won't cover because the surgical center will charge you on the spot. And if they did over charge the reimbursement process will last months if not years. Before I went in I knew my insurance would cover my procedure and my out of pocket cost would be $500. Since I had a second insurance I did not have to pay the out of pocket either. ***SO KNOW WHAT IS COVERED BEFORE YOU GO***

I am so thankful for the wonderful experience I had here. This was my first surgery ever and I was more nervous than I’d ever been about anything in my life. I arrived at 10:45am for my 11:00am check-in. I had already completed some of the paperwork ahead of time so the rest only took a few minutes. The waiting room was comfortable with plenty of couches and natural light. I only waited about 10 minutes before they brought me back for pre-op. It took about an hour for the full pre-op (stats, changing, shaving, IV, etc) before the anesthesiologist came in and gave me something to relax. Then, my surgeon and fellow came over and we talked through everything. About 15 minutes later, they were wheeling me back to the OR…and that’s the last thing I remember. I woke up and the post-op nurses were amazing! They brought my partner back, checked on me consistently, brought me maaaaany bottles of water (I wasn’t able to drink for about 15 hours), and something for the pain after it started to creep up. They wheeled me out to the car at 3:30pm and I was on my way. 2 thumbs (and a repaired ankle) up!

I had an awesome experience with my surgical procedure done at this center! The check in was fast and smooth, I was taken back quickly and was prepared for my surgery immediately. Everyone there was so nice and caring, they listened to my specifics and preferences, and they took such awesome care of me! Because of their amazing teamwork, my procedure went truly easy. I forgot to take the pictures from the surgery, so they called me and mailed them to me that same day- thank you Barbara! And thank you to everyone there who helped me and supported me all the way through. Great place to have your surgery at!

I had surgery on March 1. I was asked to pay almost $4,000 on the day of the surgery, which I did. My insurance then provided payment and I am owed a refund of $2,000.40. It is May 15 and I am still waiting for my refund. I was told the refund check was requested on April 17. Today I was told the check will be put in the mail on Friday. If I took that long to pay them they wouldn't be very happy would they. My surgeon was great, but their business office sucks. Just be warned if you have to pay up front and wait for a refund after your insurance kicks in.
