It is perplexing to read some of the 1-star reviews, and am glad /grateful that my experiences have not been anywhere close to this. I have been getting periodic epidural injections for my chronic back pain I think since late 2023 or early 2024. The check-in process has always been smooth, processes efficient, and the care shown by the RN's has been genuine. I've always had the chat with the anesthesiologist prior to the procedure (not general but rather conscious sedation). This center should be training other medical centers on how to be efficient , getting patients prepped fast, in and out in timely manner. On top of that, I've had the added bonus of nurses and other staff with excellent senses of humor. I sure hope that I never have the experience of the 1-star patients, because I've come to expect only 5-star service here!

My rating only applies to their billing procedures. Specialty surgical center demanded upfront payment for cataract surgery even though they are contracted with my insurance. They are supposed to bill my insurance first. They assured me if I paid too much I would get an immediate refund. It’s been 2 months since my surgery. Still waiting for that immediate refund! And similar to other reviews here, no one in billing returns my calls!! Very scammy place!! I will be happy to review the care I received once I receive my overpayment!!

I went there yesterday for a procedure and the staff could not have been better. Especially Katie who looked after me in pre-op and the nurse who checked on me post-op (forgot her name unfortunately) many thanks to you all for making a very nervous patient feel at ease.

My wife and I both had cataract surgery. The result is absolutely wonderful. Dr. Kamen is the best. He took great care to make sure we were comfortable. And his follow up care has been super. My wife wants to thank Dr Anderson, the anesthesiologist, the prep nurse Mineyer and Inna (sp) and the recovery nurses Odessa and Grecita (sp), the surgical Tech Mathew and the others too numerous to thank. The care was the best!

My experience at this surgery center was incredibly distressing. After my surgery, I was in severe pain, but instead of offering care or monitoring me post-anesthesia, a nurse insisted that I had to leave immediately, saying, ‘after surgery you have to leave.’ Despite being in intense pain, they refused to provide any assistance or even monitor my condition as I woke up from anesthesia. Once I was in the car, the pain was unbearable, and I ended up having to call 911. The ambulance had to take me to the emergency room since the surgery center neglected my care and dismissed my pain entirely. Adding to the frustration, the nurses lacked proper injection skills—I was painfully injected over 10 times by three different nurses who blamed my ‘thick skin’ for their difficulties rather than acknowledging their own technique issues. I have bruises on my hands and arms. Throughout the experience, they even spoke in their own language in front of me without explanation. This surgery center showed a shocking lack of professionalism, compassion, and basic care. I would not recommend this facility to anyone seeking responsible medical care.
