I went with my husband Greg to see Dr. Shaker at Central Vascular, and I just have to say—what an incredible team. From the moment we walked in, I felt just as cared for and acknowledged as Greg did, which isn’t always the case when you’re the one sitting beside the patient. Dr. Shaker was calm, confident, and so clearly skilled. You can tell he knows exactly what he’s doing, and that kind of quiet reassurance made a world of difference for both of us. It’s not easy watching someone you love go through something medical, but he made us feel like Greg was in the best hands possible. I honestly can’t say enough good things about them. They turned what could’ve been a nerve-wracking day into something we walked away from feeling comforted and genuinely grateful for.
5 stars - Because 6 wasn’t an option If you’re going to get a hole poked in your body and a tube installed like you’re some kind of medically upgraded cyborg, Dr. Shaker and Nurse Stormy are the dynamic duo you want leading the charge. Dr. Shaker’s hands were so precise I’m pretty sure he moonlights as a watchmaker or a brain surgeon for hummingbirds. The man’s got skills—and a calm confidence that made me feel like, “Yeah, I can totally survive this!” And Nurse Stormy? A literal legend. She’s like if Florence Nightingale and a stand-up comedian had a very nurturing, slightly sassy child. She had me laughing, comforted, and wrapped in warm blankets faster than you can say “scalpel.” They turned what should’ve been a terrifying procedure into a bizarrely enjoyable experience. I left the hospital with a catheter, a few laughs, and a weird sense of accomplishment—like I’d just unlocked a new level in a medical video game. If you’re ever in the market for some elite-level catheter work (which, let’s be honest, hopefully you’re not), go see Dr. Shaker and Nurse Stormy. They’re the Avengers of the vascular world. 10/10 would let them install medical hardware in me again.

Dr. Shaker and his staff are the best. He is very personable and explains thi gs thoroughly. He cares about his patients even returning calls on a Sunday and worked us into a full schedule. I've had procedures done on my dialysis graph in several other locations, and they were good, but his staff and his knowledge and personable care sets them well above the others. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
Took my Dad for a procedure . Dr. Shaker is an excellent surgeon. You can feel the care love and Hope he radiates. He sat down, explained the process to my Dad and then to me. He listened and answered all our questions. The entire staff was friendly, happy and performed with excellence. Our experience was top notched.. This place is the role model of what great patient centered care should look like.
