Ordered glasses in the beginning of November 2025… I didn’t get a message or call saying they were ready. Me thinking the holiday slowed things, down nope… Yuma vision decided to hold 2 pairs of glasses for over a month without letting me know they were ready. I didn’t know I had to call everyday to verify if my glasses were ready or not. They cant confirm a message was sent nor was anything documented. The providers are great but their processes are crap.

Since Dr Determan has left the practice the level of customer service has declined significantly. From trying to get an appointment and the systems being down for 3 weeks to waiting to see the the optics personnel for ordering my contacts as I sat in the waiting room alone for 40 minutes as the ladies worked on their computers and when they finally called my name they did not have my paperwork even ready- or able to clearly convey insurance costs. I am greatly disappointed in what yuma vision center has become. I would have quickly recommended them all day long in the past. That is no longer the case. #verydissappointed

I came to the Vision Center with broken glasses. Unfortunately, my insurance had not renewed just yet so everything was out of pocket. I was worried about price. I had Olga S. to help navigate purchasing another pair. She was absolutely the best- answered all my questions, provided a plan and options on lenses. By the end of it, I walked out with an affordable pair of glasses (under 40 $. )

My experience was a couple years ago, using other places makes me realize how bad the service was. The Dr himself is GREAT and his people do a thorough exam, but the frames are ridiculously priced and they not only don't honor warranty but they just won't help you with issues at all. Take the prescription to a budget store in town and buy there because they'll be happy to help you fix frame issues any time even months or years later. Not this place though sadly. Hundreds of dollars to be left out to dry leaves a bad taste in anyone's mouth. I'd much rather pay $20 to be taken care of forever.

This team of eye care professionals really meet their patient needs! The staff is so friendly and personable. I feel well taken care of when I visit or have any issues. Highly recommend!
