They called and asked if I'd reschedule my time of arrival for a colonoscopy. No big deal. I did all the prep work and all the unpleasantness that goes along with it. My wife took the day off to drive me home. I got a call this morning just after taking my last round of prep telling me that Dr. Jones has been "inconvenienced" and my appointment is canceled. Emergencies, I get. But don't tell me you're inconvenienced when I've been on a liquid diet and on the toilet all night and my wife and I have both lost a day of work. I called to reschedule and was informed that I can't be seen for two months. I asked if I could get some consideration because I was dropped four hours before my appointment. The answer was no. If you think your inconvenience is going to be taken into consideration at Digestive Health Specialists, I can assure you, it won't.
