All staff is super nice. Been here twice so far with no complaints.
I am a patient a pain clinic and needed a new spinal cord stimulator battery replacement. I was booked for surgery at this surgery Center. Prior to my surgery I called to confirm that the doctor performing my surgery was in my network. I was told that my surgery was covered by my insurance and that my copayment would be $275 dollars. After the surgery, I received a bill for $ 7,050 ! I again called the Center and asked why I received a bill. They said that they were in network and I should not have received a bill. I then called my insurance and was told that the surgery Center was not in my network, but the doctor was. I called the surgery center back and got a different person. They looked into it and then said “Oh, You are NOT in network” and that I could make payments! This is unacceptable. I would have never used a doctor or a surgery Center that was not in network! Be careful and don’t trust the staff with such an important issue. I am appealing this bill, and was told it can take months to get a resolution. Meanwhile I hope I don’t get sent to collections. I am on disability.

I am a patient of Uptown Surgery Center and was involved in a car accident, which was not my fault. I underwent three epidurals, two nerve blocks, and two radio frequency ablations. I only received anesthesia three times. This surgery center is contracted with my pain management clinic and is accepted by my insurance. They only gave me the bill two months after the last procedure, after I had to haggle them for it. The total cost is $244,000. I have been in contact with my insurance company and will be contacting whatever board they are associated with for their inflated prices, breaching their contract with my insurance company, and being unethical. The nurses here are absolutely amazing, love them both. I would not recommend this place to anyone who was in a car accident.
