I have never had surgery before, and I have to say this place made me feel so comfortable and well taken care of. From the check in staff to the nurses and surgery team, everyone that I encountered was extremely kind, caring, and informative. My intake nurse, who gave me my IV, was very old and made me a lil nervous, but overall got the job done after a few tries. My Dr, her nurses and her team were fantastic. After surgery I was so well taken care of. Instructions were reviewed with me and my husband. We were given written instructions to take home too. I felt so blessed to have had the experience and the wonderful people who I got to work with here.
If it weren't because this is the place my obgyn has for surgery I would never set foot here! The actual surgical team and nurses were great. Unfortunately the Customer service reps before the surgery, that I called back to have some questions answered after paying almost 5k upfront were as RUDE as you can get! Cathy and Carrie are two disgusting human beings that have no care for patients and speak just because they have a mouth to do so. Their jobs are a joke to them and they don't even know what they are saying and only pick up to argue with the patients. The first rep said they don't bill the insurance and laughed the second useless one said IF you didn't like her you sure won't like me! who answers that way AFTER you have already paid almost 5k. They couldn't even answer simple questions. Not only did Carrie say they wouldn't bill the insurance she banged the phone and was upset because I was asking questions said "OMG" If you hate your job so much you should not be there.I also ask to speak to a manager and Cathy said shes working I'll have her call you. Part of the manager's job is to answer calls. Not only did I not get a call back that day, I had to call back the next day and Sonia finally got a manager to call me (Priscilla). who had heard the call and apologized for the disgusting way I was treated by her team! And said we will bill the insurance not sure why she would say that to you!We are the patients and your are the first one we talk to before surgery makes me angry to know its Carrie and Cathy at the other end, two angry useless and confrontational reps answering for the surgical team! I'd have your insurance call and verify before giving them so much money that they can't even answer questions for. HORRIBLE SERVICE from the surgical customer service reps.
Absolutely every single person involved in my surgery was kind, gentle, thorough, and explained everything in great detail and made me feel so safe and comfortable. They told me what to expect and patiently answered all of my questions. I just felt so well cared for and they were all extremely competent. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful experience!
My wife had surgery scheduled today, she Sneezed two time in the waiting room your normal clear the Sinuses in the morning. They refused to do the surgery because they think she sick. We have been home for a hour now and she hasn't Sneezed one time. This was a waist of are time, now we don't know when she will get her surgery. And you think the American medical system is the best in the world I think not. Well we got her the surgery at your 93 Ave location! Two days after they refused her at the 10st location. They couldn't understand why your 10 st location wouldn't do the surgery for Sneezing two times. Maybe your employees need to think of the stress and pain someone is under when going for surgery. This is a complete disregard to a person care, well being, stress, emotions. The doctor wouldn't have scheduled the surgery if he didn't think it was necessary! Not only did you waist are time you waisted the Doctor time and the Doctor need to find a location he could help my wife at two days later. Well after kicking us out for my wife sneezing two time and not performing the surgery. They are trying to bill us for the surgery they didn't perform at this location. What has become of the medical system in the USA? They can't don't do the work and still want to get paid as the customer suffers in pain till they can find a new place to get the medical treatment. Not the best place to receive medical treatment!
