Have had to deal with surgery centers before, and this was hands down the Best ever amazing staff, friendly. I was a little nervous about the cateract surgeries, but they they made it such an easy process that the surgery on my right eye so easy and zero stress. Hopefully I won't need anymore surgeries, but if I do....
Had my procedure a week ago: This was my first surgery as an adult (had the same procedure in middle school) so I was nervous about understanding the whole process and paperwork, but the staff made it all fairly simple. They were sure to call me prior to the surgery with information about payment and the receptionist patiently answered all my questions. On the day of surgery I was met with the same patience from the receptionist and all of the nurses were very kind, accomodating, and took the time to explain what next steps were. After the surgery I was incredibly nauseas and the nurses did a great job tending to me and explaining after care to my mother. I recieved a follow up call within the next day or so and would have felt comfortable calling back with any questions or concerns. Overall great experience.
I will also get a different Doctor before I return to this place. The great majority of the staff was fine, but the Preop Nurse was not. When I mentioned the extremely long wait when I initially arrived at the center, her answer was basically, and I quote….”Well, that’s the way the cookie crumbles”. Her second insulting comment was, and I quote, “ You got somewhere to go?” In addition, and after taking my vitals, she began to leave the room with a blood pressure cuff still on my left arm. That, in and of itself, was not big deal, but also not a clear indication of attention to detail. Then, just before going into surgery, another nurse discovered that my IV was non-operational. I was indeed hooked to some liquid, but obvious wasn’t receiving it. So, the other nurse did another IV to correct that mistake. Sorry, but Nurse Megan strikes me as someone who does not care for her job. I just think she was very negative.
Everyone here was super kind and professional. The building is beautiful and clean, the communication was great, and they even sent a get-well card after my surgery. This place goes above and beyond. I also had zero issues with billing. Kudos to the staff for being so fantastic!
I had my knee surgery this morning. The staff is absolutely amazing. Very friendly & made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Hansen is wonderful. He sat down with my daughter after my surgery with pictures & explained everything he did. My nurse's Janette, Jeff & Monica very nice & Jeff has a way of making you feel comfortable. Thank you all.
