I conducted extensive research before choosing this office and was immediately impressed with Mackenzie Bartlett, PA at the Gilbert location. She was compassionate, patient, and genuinely listened to all of my concerns. We scheduled both an endoscopy and colonoscopy, with a one-month wait. My health issues have significantly impacted my early twenties- I’ve had to cut back on work, rarely leave my home, and have been awaiting answers for quite a long time. I was hopeful going into my endoscopy with Dr. Schron at the Chandler location; however, my experience was extremely disappointing. It required five IV attempts, including two blown veins, and I woke up after the procedure with a bacterial tonsil infection. Last time I checked I was not sick going into my procedure. My interaction with the doctor was brief, and my concerns did not feel acknowledged. Because of the unexpected infection, I had to cancel my colonoscopy and now face an even longer delay in obtaining the care and answers I urgently need. When I called the office; very frustrated and simply seeking two things, either to transfer my care to another provider within the practice or to obtain my medical records, there was no effort made to help coordinate a transfer or offer support. Instead, I was only called back to confirm that my records had been sent, which led me to believe I was being dismissed as a patient. This was disheartening and extremely unprofessional. I strongly recommend the Gilbert location and PA Mackenzie Bartlett, who provided exceptional care. However, I do not recommend seeing Dr. Schron for procedures or care based on my experience.

I only met with a doctor once - after that they would call to reschedule my appointment because the doctor was going to be out of the office doing a procedure. This happened FOUR times!! I even switched doctors hoping it would not happen again and it DID! Plus they were adamant that my elevated liver enzymes must be my supplements and had nothing to do with me having a stroke or being put on a statin - even though my enzymes were perfect 3 weeks prior. But once I took matter into my own hands and asked my neurologist to put me on a different statin my enzymes went back to normal. The doctors there don't listen to their patients!

Had my test two weeks ago today and nobody has contacted me with results. I called the office they told me that they mail me a letter. Will I can't ask a letter questions I needed to talk to one of the practitioners there that could tell me what my problem is and what to do about it. Two weeks and I have not heard from the office. This is very disturbing. I have been in to see Dr brockner three times before this and has never had this problem. It would be nice if after undergoing a colonoscopy and an endoscopy that I might get some results

I had an upper GI done at South East valley Gastro. From the initial discussions with the PA to the procedure everything was well done. If you have Gastrointestinal or ColoRectal issues you won’t find better care than that provided by SEVG.
