I had surgery on October 11th 2023 and would like to thank the wonderful nurses, surgery techs, doctors and check-in staff. The staff made me comfortable before and after my procedure and were very caring and attentive. I do not remember all of the staff's names that cared for me. I would like to give a shout out to the nurses in the pain clinic that comforted me while Dr Chen gave me my injections in my back, the nurse in my operating room that held my hand while Dr Armour gave me my anesthesia, Jessica the traveling nurse that did my preprocedure IV and brought me heated blankets to keep me warm, the nurses that took care of me after my procedure and got me coffee 🤣, and also the doctors involved in my surgery, anesthesia, and pain injection. They turned a scary time into an experience where I felt very cared for. Thank you Prov Day Surgery.

My mom had a surgery with one of the best doctors in this hospital Dr Tania Hall (alaska women’s health) I would like to share with you my story.I’m a 22 years old and one day my mom started having a very painful pain under the stomach unbelievable pain and I brought her to the emergency.Thanks to Dr Tania Hall she came and checked my mom and she said the only way to recover your mom is to have a surgery and she did the surgery that night,she was a very nice doctor she saved my mom and I will never forget her name,one of the best doctors I have ever seen in my life she was holding my mom’s hand all the time to encourage her that you’re going to be okay she was even crying for my mom I couldn’t belive my eyes,she explained everything in details to my mom about the surgery. Definitely one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen not just a doctor but she was a very positive person and I highly recommend to everyone. I want to say THANK YOU SOO MUCH for everything you’ve done for my mom and thank you PROVIDENCE for having doctors like TANIA HALL definitely one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen THANK YOU millions time.

Every member of the staff that I encountered during my procedure provided exceptional care. Every nurse that I worked with was professional, caring, and checked on me regularly. I was very impressed that during this time when we are all facing extra stress and challenges all of the staff contributed to creating a positive energy at every stage of the process. The last thing I remember before anesthesia kicked in was the phrase "This will smell like a beachball", which gave me a peaceful and warm mental image of a sunny sandy beach before I went out. All of these details made me feel a lot better. This kind of caring medical work really matters and changes lives. Thank you Doctor Falkowski, Peter, and the other nurses, anesthesiologist, and op attendees (sorry I can't remember your names).

This hospital is amazing! Let me start off by saying I am not from Alaska me and my family were here just visiting family when my son broke his wrist, this hospital got us in a room in less than 5 minutes! All of the staff were amazing. I have never been to a hospital with so many caring staff! Our doctor and his rn Allison were amazing! The respiratory therapist Randal was so nice to my son and helped him calm down there was a few other rn's that I didn't catch they're names that were also amazing 👏 The doctor was so through and even called in an orthopedic surgeon to assist him. The orthopedic surgeon was super nice and very educated in his field! I truly will never forget all that they have done for me and my son! Thank you all so much I honestly couldn't ask for a better group to assist my son! Thank you again your efforts are greatly appreciated 🙂 AZ
